WATER REFRESHERS

We are in the peak of summer and this heat and humidity is relentless. My favorite tasty way of beating the heat and staying refreshed is sipping on a Water Refresher under the shade. Here is a quick and easy DIY recipe for these drinks using fresh fruits and herbs!

For some reason I’m convinced these Water Refreshers taste better in mason jars. I got mine for $10 from my local Christmas Tree Shop! But you can find mason jars just about anywhere. This recipe also utilizes locally grown fruits and herbs that compliment each other and are perfect for the summer months since they are grown fresh & are super delicious!

Creating these drinks is as simple as cutting up fruit and dropping herbs into your mason jar filled with chilled water.

Blue Mason Jar: If you are going for a more subtle herbal taste, you would enjoy the Blue Water Refresher. This water is infused with fresh Blueberries, Basil leaves, and Lemon.

Green Mason Jar: For that drink that makes you go “ahhh” try the Green Water Refresher that has Cucumber, Lime, Cilantro for a truly cool refreshing taste.

Red Mason Jar: For something with a stronger flavor that has a crisp kick, try our Grapefruit, Watermelon, and Mint combination!

Yellow Mason Jar: My personal favorite is this citrus refresher with just the right amount of sweet. Recreate this amazingness with an Orange slice, Pineapple, Rosemary.

I encourage you to try out different combinations and share your recreations with me!

Happy Summer!
